Up to 80% of the world's traded goods still move by sea, and in modern history, every global power has been a naval power. The ocean is the backbone of the global economy, and increasingly the place where peace and free trade are kept or lost.
But while the threats and demands facing us have never stopped evolving, the way we design and build the ships to meet them hasn't kept pace.
Saronic exists to change that. We build autonomous fleets to go where people shouldn't have to — to protect peace, secure free trade, and preserve the freedom to move and operate across the world's most important waters.
That mission is already taking shape in the field. Earlier this month, one of our Corsair vessels played a part in the first at-sea rescue of two downed Apache pilots, a reminder that what we build is already making a difference when it matters most, and that behind every mission are real people relying on it to work.
None of this happens without the people behind it. The engineers, shipbuilders, and veterans on our team design, build, and test these vessels with the urgency this moment demands. Their work is the latest chapter in a long American tradition of meeting hard problems with ingenuity and resolve.
That tradition is exactly what we're celebrating. Two hundred and fifty years ago, a determined few declared their independence and bet they could build something better than what they'd been handed. We carry that same conviction onto the water. As we mark 250 years of American innovation, we're not just looking back at how far we've come, we're building the fleets, and the future, the next 250 will depend on.
